Adaptive Sports

Adaptive sports give children and youth with diverse abilities the opportunity to play, compete, and experience confidence in an inclusive environment. Many children with different abilities love sports, and programs across the world—especially near Orlando, Florida—help make that possible. Adaptive sports allow kids to develop strength, coordination, teamwork, and independence while having fun.

Through videos, stories, and community programs, children can see the joy and possibilities of adaptive sports. These programs help young athletes discover their abilities, build self-esteem, and form friendships in a supportive environment. Sports are not only about physical activity—they are about empowerment, belonging, and showing every child that they can achieve great things, no matter their challenges.

Our mission in highlighting adaptive sports is to celebrate inclusion and encourage families and communities to support programs where children with diverse abilities can thrive. Every child deserves the chance to play, explore, and experience the freedom of movement in a safe, encouraging space.
