BullyingCanada is Canada’s only wrap-around mental health service for bullied youth. We work one-on-one with them, their parents and local supports for as long as it takes to bring an end to the bullying and help them heal. Our Lifeline: Bullied Youth Support Network provides a safe space for youth to reach out by phone, texting or email, for expert help in bullying intervention and to learn how to deal with bullies.
We believe in a world where every person, regardless of sexual orientation and gender identity, can achieve their full potential, free from hatred and bias.
Our 2023 Pink Shirt Day design was inspired by moments of kindness, empathy and understanding that can mean so much to children impacted by bullying. For bullied kids, it can be hard to know where to turn. But a helping and supportive hand can make a world of difference! Remember that whether it’s sending a check-in text, calling out bullying behaviour when you see it, or simply offering your support, there are so many ways we can all help and connect with people being bullied. Let’s Lift Each Other Up this Pink Shirt Day, and all year round!
Stop Bullying on the Spot When adults respond quickly and consistently to bullying behavior they send the message that it is not acceptable. Research shows this can stop bullying behavior over time. Parents, school staff, and other adults in the community can help kids prevent bullying by talking about it, building a safe school environment, and creating a community-wide bullying prevention strategy.
