A Growing Success
Five years ago, the Kamloops Self-Advocate newsletter started with a goal of writing for and about people with diverse abilities. Over the years, we’ve been really successful and now our goal is to continue sharing success stories with the whole community.
“Be the Change, Lead the Change”
This is a great quote, because we feel that this is a universal message and what the KSA is doing, leading and pushing for change both in Kamloops and in the international community.
We want to share social issues that touch all of us and share the successes of others in overcoming barriers, challenges and social stigma.
Watch for the newsletter to appear in more places in the community (coffee shops, cafes and service providers) as well as well as the bigger on-line presence.
And, don’t forget, we always welcome your story ideas and contributions to the newsletter. We love to hear from you!
